Cornerstone Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church located at 679 Mast Road, Manchester, New Hampshire. Though the church has a Manchester address, it is located in the Pinardville section of Goffstown.
Our pastor, Ed Prescott, and his family began the church in 1999 as church planting missionaries sent out of Victory Baptist Church in Londonderry, New Hampshire. They began the church in the small living room of their apartment on Conant Street on Manchester’s west side. The church grew, and moved to 131 Amory Street in Manchester. The building, formerly a pharmacy, florist, and convenience store, was renovated for use as a church. It provided space for an auditorium, Sunday School classes, teen room, nursery, small kitchen, and church office. Cornerstone Baptist Church continued to meet there and minister on the west side of the city for nine years. In 2008, the church moved to its current location at 679 Mast Road on the second floor, above the retail stores. We like to refer to our meeting place as “the upper room,” reminiscent of the meeting place of the first church in Acts chapter one. With this new building came more floor space, as well as a much needed increase in parking.
Cornerstone Baptist Church continues to grow and thrive as we provide a fun, family-oriented, God-honoring, and Christ-centered church experience for all those who attend. We are proud to be a part of and serve the communities of Goffstown and West Manchester. There is room for you to be a part of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Come visit us soon!
We are currently in transition from our current facility to a new building located at 651 Mast Road. Construction and renovation are currently underway to prepare the new building for occupancy. You can find more information and follow our progress here.
