Thanksgiving Day!!
Wow, what a great day! Mrs. Prescott, Emily, Rachel and I spent a wonderful, quiet, peaceful day at home. We started our day off with a brunch of some sort of egg caserole, and a couple of different kinds of sausage. Just enough to hold us over til turkey time! We had a wonderful dinner together but I must confess we really missed Michael and Benjamin. They are still out at Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California. Last year we had the opportunity to fly out there and surprise them for Thanksgiving. This year they stayed out there and we stayed home. Rather than be sad that they were not with us, we chose to enjoy our time together with Emily and Rachel. Next year will be our last year with them should the Lord lead them off to college. We had a great day together! I thank God for giving me such a woderful wife and great kids. I am so thankful that I am saved and have such a great privilege to pastor Cornerstone Baptist Church. I am thinking of all of our folks and thanking God for each of them. We have a busy Christmas season coming up. I hope everyone is ready to go!
