pastor General Wow, what a great day!  Mrs. Prescott, Emily, Rachel and I spent a wonderful, quiet, peaceful day at home.  We started our day off with a brunch of some sort of egg caserole, and a couple of different kinds of sausage.  Just enough to hold us over til turkey time! We had a wonderful dinner together but I must confess we really missed Michael and Benjamin.  They are still out at Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California.  Last year we had the opportunity to fly out there and surprise them for Thanksgiving.  This year they stayed out there and we stayed home.  Rather than be sad that they were not with us, we chose to enjoy our time together with Emily and Rachel.  Next year will be our last year with them should the Lord lead them off to college.  We had  a great day together!   I thank God for giving me such a woderful wife and great kids. I am so thankful that I am saved and have such a great privilege to pastor Cornerstone Baptist Church.  I am thinking of all of our folks and thanking God for each of them. pastor General We had a great service tonight as we prepared ourselves for Thanksgiving Day tomorrow.  We have so much to be thankful for.  The message tonight was so relevant.  There are many things we take for granted, but God reminds us in His Word what He thinks is important!  Everyone seemed to enjoy the video at the end of the night of Pastor Johnson's rendition of Thanksgiving Day!  Looking forward to Saturday:  Preparing, Pizza, Praise and Prayer at 3:00! pastor General Tomorrow Cornerstone will be celebrating 10 years of ministry in Greater Manchester. I just want to say that it has been an incredible journey! I have seen God bless the church, myself, and my family immensely over these past 10 years. We have seen hundreds of souls saved and countless lives changed. The Lord truly is amazing! pastor General After their pastor stepped down to serve the Lord in New York, the members of Calvary Baptist Church voted to merge with Cornerstone. After much prayer and consideration, we decided to move into Calvary's building, which provides more space and parking over the old Cornerstone building. Here is a picture of our new auditorium:   We will be working to bring in our pews and piano from the other building. Eventually we will be able to have two pianos playing for congregational singing!
